Vasantha Vihara 2025
Sri Ramakrishna Ashrama, Mysuru organized a summer camp 'Vasanta Vihara' from 14th – 20th April 2025 in which 77 (52 boys and 25 girls) students of classes 8,9 and 10 participated.
During this camp, classes on yogasana, bhajans and spoken sanskrit were held on a daily basis.
Monks and eminent orators delivered talks on various topics including life and teachings of Holy Trio, how to become the best version of ourselves etc.
Creative sessions on making paperbag, origami and tangram, impactful presentation were conducted from which the participants benefited very much. Special sessions on Science and Technology activities were also held.
Breakfast and juice refreshments were served to all every day.
The camp concluded on 20th April 2025 in which Matrivandana, a unique event wherein each participant worshipped their mother was held. Students displayed ogasanas, performed a short drama in Sanskrit and sang devotional songs in front of a full gathering including their parents.
Certificates of participation were given to all and prizes were awarded to the best participants among boys and girls.
